Purchase Order Policy

Educational Science accepts official government, school or educational institutional purchase orders over $100.00 by mail or fax. Orders under $100.00 must be pre-paid with check or school credit card. Purchase orders must be signed by an authorized purchasing agent for the school or institution and include an email address. All purchase order invoice terms are Net-30. Unfortunately, this means we do not extend credit to businesses.

Educational Science is pleased to provide open credit accounts to schools, universities, institutions, and educational non-profit organizations.   Apply for an online account with our simple form  Purchase Order Application.   We do not accept Purchase orders for merchandise under $100.00 (not including shipping).     All orders under $100.00 must be pre-paid with check or credit card.  Once you have established a line of credit with Educational Science you are welcome to continue sending your purchase orders via mail, fax or email provided your account is current and there are no past due invoices.   If your Organization has not done business with Educational Science, we may require that your first order be pre-paid with check or credit card.  We do not extend credit on drop shipped merchandise.     We do not extend credit to businesses or re-sellers.

Applying for Credit Applying for credit is easy!   Simply fill out the Educational Science PO Application and return it.    If you are from an approved institution listed above--- simply fax, mail or email your official and signed school purchase order to Educational Science, PO Box 747, League City, TX 77574. Many teachers include a print-out of their online shopping cart attached to the approved school purchase order, which helps ensure accuracy when entering the order. We process orders within 1-2 business days, and an invoice will be mailed to your organization (Net-30 terms apply). If we have any questions, we will call you. It's that simple.  Once you have established a line of credit with Educational Science you are welcome to continue sending your purchase orders via fax or email. We will mail an invoice to your organization on future orders as well. Requesting a Quote If you require a formal quote please email items numbers, the quantity requested, and the complete shipping address to educationalscience@msn.com.  A quote will be sent back to you within 1 business day. Quotes are sent with FEDEX Ground service ( estimate shipping cost @ 10% of merchandise total) as the initial shipping method; if you’d prefer to have Economy or Expedited shipping methods applied to the quote please note this in your email. Please send any School District Purchasing Dept. registration requirements (application information) and registration links along with your PO. If Educational Science is not already registered with your school district we will be sure to complete the paperwork required to process your official PO. State Sales Tax Due to recent legislation, Educational Science is required to collect and pay sales tax in many states. Sales tax liability is based on the order ship-to address, not the bill-to address. Unless the purchaser provides a valid exemption certificate for that particular state, we now collect sales tax on all orders shipped to the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
