The Multiple Moth Species SWEETGUM (Liquidamber styraciflua) Instant artificial diet MMS201, (patent pending), feeds 50-150 Luna larvae. The diet contains specially processed Sweetgum (liquidamber), leaf extracts. The Multiple Species Moth agar artificial diet, MSM301 makes 1.2 Liters of diet. For best results, fresh Moth host plant material 15-30g ( Sweet gum, ) can be ground in a blender with 1 liter of water. To the hot boiling water containing the specific host plant material add the 200g dry mix and stir with a hand mixer. The hot diet is then poured into rearing cups. On cooling the diet forms a solid gel feeding matrix.
