The Multiple Moth Species Oak (Quercus) artificial diet MMS101, feeds 50-150 Oak Silk Moths. The diet contains specially processed Oak (Quercus) , leaf extracts. The Multiple Species Moth agar artificial diet, MMS101 makes 1.2 Liters of diet. For best results, fresh Moth host plant material 15-30g (Oak ) can be ground in a blender with 1 liter of water. To the hot boiling water containing the specific host plant material add the 200g dry mix and stir with a hand mixer. The hot diet is then poured into rearing cups. On cooling the diet forms a solid gel feeding matrix.
